MINUTES of MEETING held on 20^th February 2017

3. This meeting was arranged to discuss the maintenance of the playing field.
4. With regular play area warden inspections and independent annual inspection and working parties to attend to problems the maintenance of equipment is in the main covered. This leaves problems with some play area surfacing and the playing field itself.

• Levelling and reseeding. This would be an expensive project and would need grant aid and/or fund raising. Subject to funds/volunteers a short term partial solution could be to move goal posts and reseed area to front of current position.

• Scarifying field. Equipment would be required to do this. Chris to ask if Charlie if he has suitable equipment and if so to give us a quote.

 

Simon has equipment at his work and will ask if they are prepared to loan/rent equipment. Potential contractors who could deliver and return equipment to be contacted for a quotation. ( Simon and John)

• Simon also has access to seeding equipment if his employers are prepared to loan/rent.

• Hedging/edges to field. Suggested that hire of equipment/operator be considered (Collins/Goodrum)

• Paul to check if any funds available from Playing Field Assn

• Chris to contact Norton Subcourse PC to ask for donation towards this project and also dog bin servicing.
